Customer Service
Our goals for the coming year will always be devoted to more
customer service. At HEI we are constantly striving to give more
customer service and one way we are determined to make it better is to do
follow up e-mails just to make sure everything is as expected. If
we know that you are experiencing a problem, we will do everything in our
power to make it right, but sometimes people do not take the time to
complain. This will give those people a better opportunity to tell us what
we are doing wrong so we can make it right.Also, as
always, if we are here during normal business hours, a real live person
will answer the telephone. Most of the time, that person will be able to
help you, but if not you will be routed immediately to someone who will be
knowledgeable enough to take care of your problem. If there is no one here
knowledgeable enough to help, we will immediately contact the manufacturer
either by phone or e-mail, depending on the circumstances. We will make sure
that your question is answered to the best of our ability.
New Products for the coming year 2008 & 2009
The following new products have been added to our
line in 2008.
1. We have been continually adding new microscopes, video inspection
stations, LCD Scopes and microscope accessories to our line and will
continue into 2009. Please check out our
new LCD Scope that is
really a HOT Product.
2.
We
are adding a new Soldering and Desoldering Tool line from Germany by ERSA.
Those who are familiar with the name will know the quality of the line. You
can see the New Product Soldering Station by
the name of I-Con here. We will be adding more ERSA product in the
near future. They will be adding new product to their line also.
3. We intend to add more handtools to our line and
have chosen the great tools by EREM by Coopertools. We will be adding them
soon since they are the chosen tools by most manufacturers.
4. In 2008 we added a
IR Rework Station to our HEI brand and
hope that it sells well for 2009. It should be a very good attribute to our
soldering and desoldering tool line.
5. Most of our manufacturers are continually
striving for perfection on their lines and we are constantly updating the
Web Site with their new products to keep
you on the cutting edge of technology, so check back often as we are adding
new products almost every day.
The Economy
The economy is in the doldrums right now (Nov.
2008), but I am forecasting a good year for our business. We are debt free
and have a great stock of products in our warehouse for our surviving
customers that need them to grow their company. We will always be here for
you and will continue to grow our business for you.

New Products for the coming year 2007 & 2008
The following new products will be added to our
line in the year 2006 and 2007.
1. We are very excited about our new line of microscopes and
video inspection stations that will be brandishing our new brand 'HEIScope'
which can be see on our new web site
http://www.heiscope.com. It will be the same stereo zoom microscope that
we have always sold, except it will now have our brand on it. Please check
it out as we are stocking the full line and will be better able to take care
of our customers immediate needs.
2. We are also very excited about a new line
of soldering and desoldering tools from Japan. Taiyo Electric, which sells
under the brand name of goot,
and HEI have negotiated a deal to sell goot products in the USA and
internationally. They have added a lot of quality to HEI's stock with their
new Lead Free Soldering Irons and
Lead Free Soldering Pots. We also have a new
desoldering tool that is completely portable for the field technicians which
can be seen here.
3. We have become a Master Distributor for
Steinel Heat Guns and have become a distributor for Master Appliance Heat
Guns. We have also added a new web site
http://www.heat-guns.com to accommodate our new found fame in the heat
gun industry. We will be stocking heavily on heat guns to take care of our
customers immediate needs for heat guns.
4. We have just added a fume extractor line
that we think is the best in the world. They have been marketing to the
medical field for about 25 years and just decided that their products would
be more than suitable for the electronics field. They are far ahead of the
competition in filtration and that is what you are looking for in good fume
extraction. Remember, anyone can build a tin box with a fan, it's the
filtration that counts. Check out

5. We attend at least two trade shows a year
where manufacturers exhibit their new tools. We are constantly on the
lookout for tools that would compliment what we already sell. Anything that
we offer for sale will be inspected by us and has to meet certain guidelines
before we take it to market. The manufacturer also has to meet guidelines
such as, drop shipping when we do not have it in stock, taking care of
warranty in a way to completely satisfy our customer, make quality number
one, etc.

we will be adding new products all year long and continually supporting our
old products. Remember, we specialize in soldering and desoldering
products.
Newsletters
1. We are going to try
to increase the frequency of our newsletters to one every two weeks at the
request of some of our customers. We hope we will not cause any
inconvenience to any of our customers as the purpose of the newsletters is
to bring attention to either new products, sales on products, or new ways to
solder and desolder. It is our hope that we will have sufficient information
in our newsletters that our clientele will look forward to receiving them.
For those who do not, they will have the option to Opt Out of further
Newsletters. We only send to our existing customers or people who sign up to
receive the newsletter. We will never SPAM or sell your name or e-mail
address to other people. NEVER!
Business forecast
We are forecasting a very good year for our business. We
have good exposure on the search engines, keep our web sites updated every
day, are constantly updating our products, and focusing on the wants and
needs of our customers.
